A heated argument between two truck drivers over a parking space at a Wichita Love’s Travel Stop ended in tragedy when one man was fatally struck by a semi-truck. Police say 46-year-old Travis Briscoe of Jenks, Oklahoma, and 57-year-old Abdelmuttalib Mohammed of Georgia got into a verbal dispute moments before the incident. As Briscoe began backing his tractor-trailer into a parking stall, the vehicle struck Mohammed, pinning him underneath. Emergency crews pronounced Mohammed dead at the scene, and investigators later determined that the confrontation escalated within seconds.

Briscoe was arrested and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on a second-degree unintentional murder charge, which under Kansas law means causing a death through reckless actions that show extreme indifference to human life. Authorities confirmed the two men did not know each other prior to the incident. The case has shaken the trucking community, serving as a grim reminder of how quickly tempers and tension at crowded truck stops can turn fatal.

Well maybe if some of the truck stops stop stop charging for parking there would b plenty of parking n incidents like this would stop truckers drive hard to make sure they have time to make the load they r tired n drained for the day n only want to park n rest n parking is limited due to reserved parking being charged! They need to stop.
